The dentist who has done the cleaning herself since 1993
Dr. Amini graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1993 and went into private practice the same year. She has been at 4425 N High Street ever since, the only dentist this office has had. One reviewer, Yolanda Fumi, wrote that she and her husband have been patients of Dr. Amini’s for approximately thirty years.
Before dentistry she finished a bachelor’s degree in biology, with a minor in mathematics, in three years, graduating cum laude from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. She was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi and featured in “Who’s Who in America’s Colleges and Universities.”

Paperless, and built by her own husband
The office is paperless and runs as green as a dental practice can manage, with digital x-rays instead of film. Dr. Amini’s husband is an architect, and he helped design the office at 4425 N High Street, the same one it has occupied since 1993. She also sees dental services for children as well as the adults who bring them in.
Outside the office she plays piano and tennis, and bakes. She has been married for twenty-five years, with one son. Two separate reviewers have written that they came in with dental anxiety and left without it: Sophie James said it helps “a lot” that everything is explained before it is done, and Kathleen Garber described the office as always “friendly, professional, and quick to help with dental emergencies.”
