Chapter 01
What gets looked at every time
A checkup covers an oral cancer screening, periodontal charting and low-radiation digital x-rays, plus whatever you raised last time you were in. It's meant to be the appointment where nothing happens, which is exactly the point of having it.
The same three things get looked at whether or not anything feels wrong, because the things worth catching early rarely announce themselves first.

Patient-specific areas of concern
The practice lists this as its own line, and the reviews explain what it means in practice better than a service list can. Sarah, a patient of over fifteen years, wrote that Dr. Amini "takes any concerns you have about your teeth seriously" and "does not do unnecessary dental work."
Sophie James wrote that Dr. Amini "is very thorough and explains everything to you before she does it." Read together, the two reviews describe the same habit: a concern you raise gets followed up on, not brushed past, and nothing gets done that you weren't told about first.
Chapter 03
For patients who would rather not be here
Two separate patients have written about dental anxiety by name. Sophie James said she struggles with it and that coming here "helps a lot." A site testimonial from M.B. described arriving with what they called a severe case of "dental phobia," including for a root canal, and called the whole experience uneventful once it was underway.
What both describe is the same pattern as the concern above: explain first, then work. For a checkup, that's often the difference between a patient who comes back in six months and one who puts it off for years.
Booking, insurance and what it costs to walk in
Most dental insurance plans are accepted, along with all major credit cards. Delta, Cigna, MetLife, Aetna and Guardian are named as preferred providers, and most other plans are taken as well.
